 What Season Are You In?

What season are you in
Spring, Summer, or Fall?
Or do you have any
Idea at all?

What season are you in?
Which one describes you?
How many of life's seasons
Has your body lived through?

Are you in Spring's sweet blossom?
Or Summer's full sun?
Maybe Autumn's where you are
Or cold Winter's begun

Your body has seasons
But your spirit does, too
On your walk with the Father
Different phases you'll go through 

In the Spring's spirit journey
There's new life and much growth
As your new faith starts blooming
And your soul fills with hope

As your faith walk continues 
In full Summer Son
You grow in dependence 
Of the Holy One

As your spirit matures
Just like Autumn's bright hues
You learn faith's to be shared
All God's glory comes through

Finally, full Winter's faith
Like the glistening snow
With its life giving moisture 
For new shoots that will grow

For each spiritual journey 's 
Not just about you
But each one that you touch
With each season passed through

As each season's a cycle
Each life also is
How we live it affects, too
How others will live

So enjoy every season
Of body and soul
For each one serves God's purpose
For his glory's the goal

For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven...

As long as the earth endures, seed time and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease.

  Choose Joy Whenever there's a choice to make Let joy be path you choose to take When love and hate are on the scale Let love be one that does prevail When anger - patience doth compete And people we tend to mistreat It's said we sow in what we reap So, sow in patience- temper keep When circumstances bring you down And all you want to do is frown Choose happiness instead, my friend Then soon you'll see your sadness end I know it's easier said than done Often more battles devil's won But get back up and try some more  For after all, God's won the war Choose kindness 'stead of getting back Instead of shortness, practice tact With every godly choice you make The devil's grip begins to break With practice, then quite soon you'll see Good choices come more easily Thus, love and joy will conquer strife Becoming hallmark of your life
