Holy Spirit 


Holy Spirit, walk with me

While I am on my way

Sweet Holy Spirit, talk to me

Each moment of my day


Dear Holy Spirit, let me hear

Everything you have to say

Help me to be still long enough 

To feel you; this I pray


Lead me in God's direction 

So that I no longer stray

See right and wrong as black and white 

Not as world's shades of gray


Please change me from the inside out

So Christ's love, I display

And calm me as I face my fears

Grant peace in my dismay


Teach me to understand God's will

Follow it without delay

Put God's commandments in my heart

So I'll want to obey


I know you intercede for me

My prayers you do relay

Straight to the throne of my dear Lord

Who hears them night and day


Help me to know the risen Lord

Fully, not just halfway 

To grow in trust so that I'm sure 

I'll always be okay


Mold me to be more like Jesus 

For I'm the Potter's clay

Remove what doesn't please the Lord

So, his image I portray


Dear Holy Spirit, I rejoice 

That you dwell in me each day

Loving, teaching, guiding me

Today, tomorrow, yesterday

How Did I Get Here? How did I get here? I don't know Seemed sometimes fast, other times slow Though, does not matter what the pace Still wonder how came to this place How did I reach this point in time? Reality of it's so sublime For most of journey was uphill Through hard fought land, yet, I'm here still How did I get from there to here? In baby steps year after year?
