Trust

Ever feel lost and confused?
Not certain of which road to choose?
Even if way you're not knowing 
Trust that God knows where you are going 

Fearful, unsure what's up ahead?
Feels safer just to stay in bed?
Get up, take shower, and get dressed
Then trust the Lord to do the rest

Don't have to know each step to take
Or even each decision make
Things crystal clear 'fore you'll begin
For that is where true trust comes in

It comes within the " I don't knows"
It comes before "know where to goes"
For trust is built on past success 
Of seeing how God's way is best

In looking back to count the ways
That God has gotten you through days
That you had doubted you'd get through
But with God's help, you always do

Time after time, he proves to us
That he is worthy of our trust
Trustworthiness  foundation's laid
By those kept promises God's made

Promise that his will, he won't hide
Promise that your steps, he will guide
Amazing promise to love you
In spite of anything you do

So, put your trust in God today
He'll make a way where there's no way
And if you choose a way that's wrong
He'll lead you back where you belong

Your faith in God is guaranteed 
To provide you with all that you need
For love, joy, peace to be a must
Requires giving God your trust

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding

Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him, and he will act

How Did I Get Here? How did I get here? I don't know Seemed sometimes fast, other times slow Though, does not matter what the pace Still wonder how came to this place How did I reach this point in time? Reality of it's so sublime For most of journey was uphill Through hard fought land, yet, I'm here still How did I get from there to here? In baby steps year after year?
