For Your Glory

Dear Father, give me eyes to see
That all is made for Your Glory
Birds of the air, fish of the sea
All living creatures  A to Z

Each flowering plant,  majestic tree
From red apple to zucchini 
Things huge and those too small to see
Sing for Your Glory endlessly

Each mountain rising from the sea
Raindrops return eventually
All nature balanced perfectly
Yes, all of it's for Your Glory 

The heavens, too, proclaim Glory 
Each star in every galaxy
Reflect light of the Deity
Sing holy, holy, most holy

And what about humanity 
Meant to model your majesty 
From Adam all through history
In Your own image thus made me

Mankind made, too, for Your Glory
Then, ate from the forbidden tree
Which changed man's perfect destiny 
Destroying peace and harmony

So, sent Your Son to set us free
Defeat death; cause Satan to flee
Thus, we can live eternally
God, was all done for Your Glory

Lord, I will praise you faithfully
For what Christ Jesus did for me
Give You all Glory endlessly
For You alone are most worthy

And as I live my life daily
Do all I do for Your Glory
For that is who I want to be
Until Your Glorious face I see

  Choose Joy Whenever there's a choice to make Let joy be path you choose to take When love and hate are on the scale Let love be one that does prevail When anger - patience doth compete And people we tend to mistreat It's said we sow in what we reap So, sow in patience- temper keep When circumstances bring you down And all you want to do is frown Choose happiness instead, my friend Then soon you'll see your sadness end I know it's easier said than done Often more battles devil's won But get back up and try some more  For after all, God's won the war Choose kindness 'stead of getting back Instead of shortness, practice tact With every godly choice you make The devil's grip begins to break With practice, then quite soon you'll see Good choices come more easily Thus, love and joy will conquer strife Becoming hallmark of your life
