 Stormy Weather

In this life, storms will come to pass
Yet, though they come, they never last
For if you can hang on through it 
You'll find eventually they quit

But, what if you want to quit too
Before the storming is all through
How do you keep on hanging on
When there're more dark clouds with each dawn

Can tell you from experience 
That some storms can be quite intense 
And some seem to go on and on
Lose hope that they'll ever be gone

If threatening weather siren warns
Trust in the one who calms the storms
With him, there is nothing to fear
Through any storm He's always near

For God promises in the end
Sunny skies will come again
Could be tomorrow or today
God will be faithful, either way

He may not end the storm for you
The minute that you want him to
Yet, I can testify the truth
With Christ, you can become storm-proof

See, every storm that you endure
Builds faith and trust and so much more
For through it all Christ held your hand 
And used it for His perfect plan

To make you more and more each day
Like Jesus Christ in every way
Thus, life's storms can be for the better
So, praise God in the stormy weather
