 (Not) Enough 

Do you ever feel there's not enough 

Waking hours in a day

Not enough time to get things done

So things get done halfway 

Do you often feel you've had enough 

Of demands required of you 

And somehow, it is not enough 

No matter what you do 

Have you ever felt you're not enough 

Compared to "you know who"

Or not enough in bank account 

Unlike the well to do

Do you feel that you don't know enough 

To converse intelligently

Or have enough self- confidence 

Yet enough insecurity 

Enough already;  don't go on

You need to stop right there

The truth - you'll never be enough 

If you only compare

'Cause there will always be someone

That has more than you do

And if comparing long enough 

Your vision it will skew

For, you are much more than enough

For what God's called you to

And though you might feel lacking

Quite the opposite is true

See, God has you exactly

Where he wants for you to be

And he'll provide more than enough 

For he gives generously 

So, there are simply not enough 

Minutes within our days

To thank our Father half enough 

And give to him our praise
