 Procrastinate

Do you sometimes procrastinate?
Put things off that you should get done?
Then find you're always running late
In turn, you feel under the gun

Have tendency to hesitate?
Keep pushing back a job's deadline?
I'll do it later; it can wait
Then find that you are out of time

Some moments that we put things off
Allow for time to think things through 
But, if due dates cause you to scoff
Time management is overdue

For things undone can lead to stress
And cause undue emergencies 
Loose ends can create quite a mess
And dragging feet wears out tennies 

There're some things you must not put off
Despite what else you've got to do
Postponement can come with a cost
When dealing with big health issues

Likewise, it's not good to delay
Needed repairs on house or car
Roof's hole won't wait for rainy day
With balding tires, can't drive too far

Relation issues  - don't postpone 
Don't make ammends at later date
Apologize, pick up the phone
Delay, and it may be too late

In matters of the spiritual kind
It's best not to equivocate
If you desire true peace of mind
Bring all concerns to heaven's gate

Should feel a sense of urgency 
In witnessing about your faith
World's in state of emergency 
Evil refuses to abate

So, share your love of risen Christ
With others - don't procrastinate
Don't stop to pause or to think twice
Eternal life can be their fate

  Choose Joy Whenever there's a choice to make Let joy be path you choose to take When love and hate are on the scale Let love be one that does prevail When anger - patience doth compete And people we tend to mistreat It's said we sow in what we reap So, sow in patience- temper keep When circumstances bring you down And all you want to do is frown Choose happiness instead, my friend Then soon you'll see your sadness end I know it's easier said than done Often more battles devil's won But get back up and try some more  For after all, God's won the war Choose kindness 'stead of getting back Instead of shortness, practice tact With every godly choice you make The devil's grip begins to break With practice, then quite soon you'll see Good choices come more easily Thus, love and joy will conquer strife Becoming hallmark of your life
