Don't have to clean up the whole house
Get to, 'cause you've a home
Don't have to talk to family
Get to - pick up the phone

Don't have to wash each dirty dish
Get to, since you have meals
Don't have to put gas in your car
Get to, for you own wheels

Don't have to travel road to work
Get to, 'cause you're employed 
Don't have to stand up for the flag
Get to - freedoms enjoyed

Don't have to wash and fold your clothes
Get to - you've things to wear
Don't have to check in when you're home
Get to, for someone cares

Don't have to clean spills wee ones make
Though they are often messing
Get to 'cause they're a gift from God
And as such, are a blessing

Don't have to go to church at all
Get to at any time 
Some people aren't as blessed as we
Where they live, it's a crime

Don't have to read bible in fear
Get to do so freely
Some places it's prohibited 
Must be read in secrecy 

Don't have to share your thoughts with God
Get to, and he will listen 
It creates intimacy with him
That those who don't are missing

Don't have to show your gratitude 
For all you have been given
Get to enjoy more happiness 
When grateful's how you're living

So change your " Have tos" to "Get tos"
And you will be surprised 
Your joy and satisfaction grow
When seen through grateful eyes
