 2025

Whatever kind of year you've had
A great one, mediocre, bad
We've reached the end of '24
There are no days left anymore

New Year! It's 2025!
Another one to be alive
Three sixty-five blank days to fill
Lived out to serve and do God's will

A brand new year arrived at dawn
What type of journey are you on
What kind do you anticipate
How do you plan to make it great

No matter what your circumstance
The kind that makes you mope or dance
The year and day are both brand new
How you approach them's up to you

Do you approach this year with dread
Because you know where last year led
Anticipating same or worse
Or was yours good, so stay the course

None of us knows the road ahead
A rocky one or smooth instead
Most likely shall be some of each
Some wilderness, some days at beach

Whatever this new year does bring
I'm fully certain of one thing
Each day of it that I'm alive
My Savior's there to be my guide

Though can't control my circumstance
My attitude's not up to chance
With gratitude I'll face new year
Assured with God, there's naught to fear

Have joyous year of '25
May it be one in which you thrive
With love, and health, and happiness
May every day of it be blessed!
