Answer the telephone 
Answer the door
Answer my questions 
Though I know I'll have more

I have some of the answers
From things I've studied
But vast fields of knowledge 
Are hidden from me

In this life, we find questions 
Pile clear to the skies
But with every one answer
New questions arise

Technology answers 
How fast a jet goes
Or just how it is
That a firefly glows

And through it I learn much
That I never knew
I can even be taught 
A new language or two 

A vast wealth of knowledge 
The internet brings
But knowledge and wisdom 
Are two different things 

For knowledge's acquiring 
Information that's new
But wisdom does tell me
What with it to do

Yet, sometimes inquiry's 
The difficult kind
And life's deeper questions 
Search engine won't find

The answers to spiritual 
Questions are tough
And reading the Bible's
Not always enough 

We can study with others
Bible scholars we seek
Or listen to sermons
That ministers speak

And our knowledge can grow
When we make that a choice
But wisdom increases 
With the Holy Ghost 's voice 

For our heart reveals answers
Our Father provides
But, things not to know 
Those, he lovingly hides

So, wisdom tells us 
That all answers will come
We must trust; be content
When God just answers some

So, when asked, then he answers
Yes, no, or just wait
But whatever the answer 
Know it never comes late 

For our all-knowing Lord 
Has made glorious plans
Plans for good, so have faith
For it's all in His hands

How Did I Get Here? How did I get here? I don't know Seemed sometimes fast, other times slow Though, does not matter what the pace Still wonder how came to this place How did I reach this point in time? Reality of it's so sublime For most of journey was uphill Through hard fought land, yet, I'm here still How did I get from there to here? In baby steps year after year?
