For when applied with a deft hand

It's not what's on the recipe card
It's in the application 
Ingredients make a heavenly fare
Mixed in right combination 

It's not what good intentions have
It's in the application 
For nothing's done if sidelines sit
But through participation 

Can't merely wish to get things done 
It's in the application 
For wishing won't make it come true
That's just procrastination 

Not just desire to help the poor
It's in the application 
More than compassion and a prayer 
Requires a donation 

It's not just if the Bible's read
It's in the application 
To truly follow word of God 
Requires demonstration 

It's not just trying really hard
It's in the application 
For if apply God's strength to it
Puts end to all frustration 

It's not enough to say you love
It's in the application 
For love's an action, not just noun
There must be presentation

Mere words can't say you serve the Lord
It's in the application 
For if, like Jesus, want to be
Requires imitation 

Dear Father, I do praise you as
The Lord of all creation
Then give my heart wholly to you
Without a hesitation
I humbly ask forgiveness
On my knees in supplication 
Thank Savior for his sacrifice 
To pay for my salvation 
Rely on him with all my soul
For he's my firm foundation 
Let those I love and all the earth
Know you through revelation
Then, spread that knowledge through the world 
As love's true application

How Did I Get Here? How did I get here? I don't know Seemed sometimes fast, other times slow Though, does not matter what the pace Still wonder how came to this place How did I reach this point in time?
