I wish for you this Christmas day
To see God's love on full display
For it is there without a doubt 
Since love is what this day's about 

I wish for you a day of joy
As when you were young girl or boy
The kind that causes happy squeals
And even grief and heartache heals

I wish for you sweet calm and rest
And all the season's happiness
For time spent with dear family
Beside you or in memory 

I wish for you hope for tomorrow 
In spite of any tears or sorrow
The certainty God has good plans
And that your future's in his hands

I wish for you all of these things
That heaven's treasure new year brings
Love, joy, and hope, sweet peace, and rest
My wish is that you're richly blessed

How Did I Get Here? How did I get here? I don't know Seemed sometimes fast, other times slow Though, does not matter what the pace Still wonder how came to this place How did I reach this point in time? Reality of it's so sublime For most of journey was uphill Through hard fought land, yet, I'm here still How did I get from there to here? In baby steps year after year?
