 You Know

Dear God, you see all things I do
Even those done behind closed door
You hear all things that I say too
The words I speak, you know before

You even know each inner thought
And every longing of my heart
Those I should have, and others not
You know my story - end from start

You know all of me, head to toe
For knitted me in mother's womb
No part of me you do not know 
Will walk with me from birth to tomb

You know my spirit's oh so willing
To live a life that pleases you
Yet, oh too often, flesh is stronger
But, God, of course, you know that, too

In spite of knowing all of me
The good, the bad, the ugly too
With all you know, and hear, and see
How do you love me as you do?

It's love I am unworthy of
For I'm a sinner every day
Not good enough to earn your love
Yet, still, you love me anyway

For Father, Abba, you are love
And we know love by knowing you
It's why you sent Son from above
So we'd be saved by love so true

Dear Lord, you know I can't repay
The sacrifice Christ made for me
I know I'll worship you each day
From now until eternity

How Did I Get Here? How did I get here? I don't know Seemed sometimes fast, other times slow Though, does not matter what the pace Still wonder how came to this place How did I reach this point in time? Reality of it's so sublime For most of journey was uphill Through hard fought land, yet, I'm here still How did I get from there to here? In baby steps year after year?
