 God's Love

I know how much the Lord loves me
I see proof of it endlessly 
How do I know of what I speak?
Why, just today he kissed my cheek

It happened on my garden seat
The feel of it was warm and sweet 
Occurred when day had just begun 
Delivered by the morning sun 

I know my Father's love is real
I hear it in a baby's squeal
The sweetest song to parent's ear
A sound of angel voices hear

Proof of his love is all about 
Of that, I'm certain without doubt
The beauty I see every place
Feels like Creator's warm embrace 

Human need for variety 
Something he provides endlessly 
Vast plant and animal kingdom 
Loving gifts to man, straight from Him

His love is evident besides 
In spring rain falling from the skies 
Bringing renewed life into bloom
Filling the air with sweet perfume

God's love is also seen in those
Eyes of the ones that we hold close
Reflection of the Lord above 
The one true source of all that's love

Yes, truly God's love does abound
All one need do is look around 
He gives it to us lavishly 
A heart for him is how we see

The very breath of God receive
With every gulp of air we breathe
In every cell, his love does weave
God gives us life - that I believe

How is it all this love I see
Because my Father first loved me
The fact I can recognize love
Is knowledge straight from God above

  Little Things  I got a pebble in my shoe Though was a tiny thing It caused a bruise upon my heel And oh, such pain did bring  Was walking on a windy day Got speck of sand in eye Was almost too small to be seen  But surely made me cry A dear one was upset with me Harsh words - said one or two The sting of then, hard to forget Though we began anew A little fib seems no big deal No harm in a white lie Till it becomes a habit And the fibs just multiply Ofttimes, it's just a little thing That can throw you off track Yet, all those small things added up Can break the camel's back  And sometimes little things grow big Creating quite a mess For most don't simply go away When they are not addressed  Pebble must be removed from shoe The sand washed out of eye Harsh words need an apology  The truth, replace a lie  The devil knows this principle  So that's how he begins Whispers to you his little lies Compromises lead to sins He gets you to take little...
