I've noticed when one's feeling down 

Their head tends to look to the ground

Conversely, when things go their way

"Life's looking up," is what they say

We look up from the things we do

When someone comes to speak to you 

We also look up recipes

When making chocolate chip cookies 

We look up answers when we doubt

Look up address when heading out

Hey, look me up when you're in town

Would love to have you come around

There're  people that we look up to

One's we can count on who are true

Look up ahead is where we gaze

When we are planning out our days

May look up bible verses, too

For guidance to know what to do

For when our life has got us down

That's where the answers can be found

Most certainly should look up to

The One that has created you 

Magnificent in all his ways

For he is worthy of all praise

So, looking up's what you should do

Whenever something worries you 

For when you call, Savior will come

Yes, that is where your help comes from

Look up! Look up! Don't hang head low 

For Father, Abba loves you so

Your faith will set example, too

To others who look up to you
