My Story

If I should write the story
Of what Christ's done in my life 
I'd tell how he's been with me
Through all triumphs, through all strife

I'd tell of how he gives me strength 
When have none of my own
He's my constant companion 
Even when I'm all alone 

I'd share how he's my comforter
When I'm scared or when I mourn
How he knows me so completely 
Since before was even born

Explain how I can count on him
He's faithful to his word
How everything I've shared with him
I know that he has heard

My story would include the ways
He's loved me endlessly
Though I did not deserve it
Or when I did not love me

I'd tell of how he's lit my path
When I have lost my way
Or patiently waits my return
When stubbornly, I stray

I'd share of how he blesses me
With friends and family
Provides for me in endless ways
So I have all I need

My story would not be complete
Without praising his name
If not for Jesus in my life
Nothing would be the same

Taken away all shame and guilt
When bore my sins for me
Is teaching me to love like him
For he loves endlessly

So, when I tell my story 
God's in every chapter, verse
For every day, as best I can
I've tried to put him first

So, my story's one of victory
In big and little ways
Thus, I will worship my dear Lord
Each one of my blessed days

  Little Things  I got a pebble in my shoe Though was a tiny thing It caused a bruise upon my heel And oh, such pain did bring  Was walking on a windy day Got speck of sand in eye Was almost too small to be seen  But surely made me cry A dear one was upset with me Harsh words - said one or two The sting of then, hard to forget Though we began anew A little fib seems no big deal No harm in a white lie Till it becomes a habit And the fibs just multiply Ofttimes, it's just a little thing That can throw you off track Yet, all those small things added up Can break the camel's back  And sometimes little things grow big Creating quite a mess For most don't simply go away When they are not addressed  Pebble must be removed from shoe The sand washed out of eye Harsh words need an apology  The truth, replace a lie  The devil knows this principle  So that's how he begins Whispers to you his little lies Compromises lead to sins He gets you to take little...
