When can't endure another day 

Hold On - God's help is on the way

If happiness, you hope to gain

Let Go - of anger, hurt, and pain

When accusations you have heard

Hold On - to tongue; don't say a word

When future fills your heart with dread

Let Go - of fear; trust Lord instead

Abandonment has caused you strife 

Hold On - to dear ones in your life

When whispered lies, Satan does speak

Let Go - of them; God's truth to seek

When doubt has taken hold of you

Hold On - to faith; His Word is true

When unforgiveness is too real

Let Go - forgive, so you can heal

When worries make you wring your hands

Hold On  - to God's; he understands 

When cling to past with all your might

Let Go - God promises a future bright

When God's goodness requires proof

Hold On - to Bible, source of truth

When your sin eats you up inside

Let Go - of it; that's why Christ died

No matter what you're going through

Your Father will Hold On to you

And though your faith may ebb and flow

Can trust that Abba won't Let Go

Hold On to promises he's said

Let Go of all lies in your head

Hold On, for when your life is done

And you Let Go of earthly one

Then crown of glory Hold On to
