But I Forgot

You told me you loved me a lot

But I forgot

Instead, I felt unlovable 

But even so, you loved me still

But I forgot 

And so I fretted ' bout each bill

Not trusting your word, you'd fulfill

Instead, felt I did not belong

But I forgot 

So, I would feel lost and alone

And so I stressed out making plans
