250407 Indecision

 Indecision

When to move forward
And when to hold back
Yes, when to retreat
And when to attack

How do you know
What is wrong, what is right
When is it wiser
To flee than to fight

When is it you trust
In your own inner voice
And when is another's
Advice the right choice

When is it better
To come; when to go
Is there any possible
Way one can know

How can you discern
If you've chosen right path
Will it all be unclear
Till folly's aftermath

Can confusion and doubt
Feel like walls of a prison
A jail that's constructed
By own indecision

Yet, if you let emotions
You feel take the lead
Then, more measured thinking
You tend not to heed

So, how do you know
The next step you should take
Will it be the right choice
Or end up a mistake

Doubts, indecision
You need them reversed
The answers are found
When you seek the Lord first

Give it all to God
And then step out in faith
For even if some
Wrong decisions you make

He'll be right there with you
Held safe in his hands
And lead you back gently
To his perfect plans

So, in this crazy world
With each road that you take
To have faith and trust God's
Best decision to make
